A recent article published in the New York Times questioned the wide held belief that infidelity is the result of a character flaw, lack of morality or unhappiness with one's partner. Based on studies conducted by Dr. Zeitsch, at the University of Queensland, infidelity can be attributable to our genetic lineup. Two hormones, vasopressin and oxytocin are believed to be the culprit involved in this type of behavior. Who would have thought? Our genetic pool; not our character is responsible in such transgressions.
